Now this is an advertisement. Seems far more respectful than Fred Astaire and the vacuum cleaner was, and if you know the history of the Golf GTI (which well known in non-U.S. markets) it also does an excellent job of communicating the message about the car that VW wants. Briefly, the original was a big hit, later versions of all disappointed in one way or another, and now the new one is supposed to be great again. Oh, the actual dance moves in the ad aren't any more impressive than the ones done in the Make 'em Laugh number, but still really cool.
